Sign Language Instructors after refresher training at UNAD Center – Funded by CEBTRAN.

Uganda National Association of the Deaf (UNAD), in collaboration with the Centre for Sign Language Bible Translation Network Uganda (CEBTRAN), recently conducted a refresher training program for professional Uganda Sign Language (UgSL) instructors from various districts. This initiative aimed to enhance the skills of instructors, enabling them to deliver UgSL training to service providers across the country, thereby promoting inclusivity and effective communication with the Deaf community.

This training is part of UNAD’s broader efforts to improve access to sign language education and services in Uganda. By equipping instructors with updated skills and knowledge, the program seeks to ensure that Deaf individuals can access essential services and participate fully in society.
