Thank You, Mbarara — International Week of Deaf People 2025
We marched. We learned. We signed. And together, we turned inclusion into everyday practice!
What we accomplished:
- Access in practice: UgSL coaching for frontline teams; public lectures on grant pathways and URA registration—so support doesn’t stall at the counter.
- Culture & community: performances, poems, and a full Independence Grounds celebrating Deaf leadership.
- Showcase of solutions: partners demo’d tools and services that make access real.
- Sport that needs no translation: Bright Stars Deaf FC 8–1 Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST).
Gratitude
